This autumn an exhibition exploring the work of Pauline Burbidge and Charles Poulsen opens at Edinburgh’s City Art Centre. The Edinburgh Reporter went to have a look just ahead of it opening, and we would heartily recommend you pop by over the next few months.
This fabulous collection is on display until 4 March 2018 and there are a couple of interactive days when you can meet the artists and learn about their art.
We spoke with Pauline Burbidge who makes fabulous patchwork quilts which incorporate many of her skills as a fine artist.

Friday Nov 17, 2017
At Unearthed the free science event on a Dynamic Earth from 17-19 November we met Sue Dawson who is a geographer with University of Dundee.
Sue explained for us beautifully how they have managed to look at the impact of a submarine landscape on the East coast of Scotland including Edinburgh - which happened about 8,000 years ago. They do this by linking a sand layer on the coast to sand under the sea where the landslide took place.
This is just one of the fascinating exhibits at Our Dynamic Earth this weekend.
